Meet Our Staff
Michael Bruner, LCPC

Since 2000 Michael Bruner, LCPC has served teens, adults, children, and families as a therapist, counselor, teacher, advisor, and advocate. Michael earned his master’s degree in Human Services and Counseling from DePaul University and has worked as a counselor for both public and independent schools and community mental health agencies, including ChiArts (The Chicago High School for the Arts), Barr-Harris Children’s Grief Center, and The Latin School of Chicago.
Michael specializes in working with teens and young adults and in creating a safe space for them to manage the natural challenges of adolescence as they move towards independence. He facilitates a process by which clients are able to build their resiliency skills, empowering them, long-term, to survive the inevitable challenges of life.
