Meet Our Staff

Joe Anderson, MA

Master Level Intern (Supervised by Anton Gleason, LCPC License #180009555)

Joe works with children, teens, and young adults, and specializes in clients who are struggling with social isolation, loneliness, depression, and anxiety.

He currently runs the Fellowship, City Counseling’s therapeutic Dungeons and Dragons group for children ages 9 to 13. He believes that the key to change is creating a safe and non-judgmental space where the client is free to explore their inner world.

Joe is a graduate from the University of Chicago, with a B.A. in sociology, and the Institute for Clinical Social Work, with an M.A. in clinical counseling. Before working as a therapist, Joe was a writer and curriculum designer for the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
