Meet Our Staff

Elizabeth Bruner, MA

Brings immense experience as an educator to her work at CCC, and she is known for her enthusiasm, warmth, and effectiveness. Elizabeth spent eighteen years as a teacher at independent schools, including many years at The Ancona School in Hyde Park. Although she has focused most of her professional life on the teaching of reading and writing, she also has experience teaching social studies and working with a wide variety of subject areas and students.

Additionally, Elizabeth completed the Rush Neurobehavioral Executive Functioning workshop for teachers and has led executive functioning sessions for students. With degrees from Yale and the University of Chicago, she has vast knowledge of her content areas.
