Meet Our Staff

Alexis Santiago, LPC, MA, MS

Clients that I work with work on a variety of concerns: agency in life, healthy boundaries, socio-emotional wellness, life balance, exploration of gender and sexual identity, integrating religion & spirituality, anxious symptoms, sexual assault history impact, impact of experienced racism, avoidant behavior, history of disordered eating, and pandemic fatigue.

I have a background in sport psychology that informs how I view the way in which we perform as humans. This helps us steer in the direction of thriving versus surviving, and self-actualization. My clinical training was in school counseling with children 6-12 years-old of different developmental stages, socio-emotional awareness, race and gender, and neurodivergence. This understanding of how we develop and how we are evolving allows me to help clients tap into their inner child and address wounds that need to be healed. My current work has entailed working with clients from ages 5-56 years old – I find an integrated approach that is eccentric in nature allows for holistic treatment of the individual in my care. I trust that my clients are the experts about their lives, and that we can work together to find solutions and alternative ways of being that promotes harmony and success.
